bignet1 TBL Yeast
2 TBL Sugar
2 TBL Flour
Heat Milk just to hot – about 105°
Whisk all above together
Let feed (proof) for about 10 minutes to create sponge
Add sponge to 4 C flour
Add salt after incorporated
Warm 1/2 stick butter
Prepare 1/2 C sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla
Add 1 beaten egg
Mix together BUT DO NOT OVER MIX
Balance flour and milk to be a dry playdough
Refrigerate 8 hours
Let warm for 30 minutes
Roll into thick pizza dough – about 1/4 inch thick
Cut into strips, then the strips into triangles
Alternately cut or tear into irregular shapes
Fry until browned uniformly
Place on paper towel to drain
Sprinkle with powdered sugar
