Boston Baked Beans

Title of Recipe: Boston Baked Beans

1 lb navy beans (soak overnight in 6 cu water)
1 ½ tsp soda
1/3 cu molasses
¼ cu sugar
1 tsp mustard

Make sauce of 1 cup reserved liquid (beans soaked in), 1/3 cu molasses, ¼ cu sugar, pepper and mustard. Pour over beans, stir and put into casserole, add enough liquid to cover. Cover and bake at 300° for 2 hr. Add remaining liquid and stir, bake covered 1 ½ -2 hours till tender and liquid absorbed.
