Chicken Fried Steak

  • 1 cubed steak per person – about 4-6 oz
  • flour
  • 1 egg – beaten
  • panko bread crumbs or crushed potato chips


  1. pound cube steak until it is about 1/4 inch thick overall
  2. dredge in flour, then in egg, then in flour again, then egg, then flour
    alternately panko for third dredge
  3. fry at 375-400ยบ for about 90 seconds per side
  4. Serve with mashed potatoes and steamed vegetables
