Homemade Butter – VERY EASY – OVERVIEW

  1. Get 1 carton whipping cream
  2. Let set on counter for 12-20 hours
  3. Fill 1/2 of leakproof jar with cream
  4. Shake (consistently, but not vigorously) for about 10 minutes
  5. Pour off liquid (reserve and use for pancakes)
  6. Replace with clear water
  7. Shake 3 minutes
  8. Discard water
  9. Repeat 6, 7, 8
  10. Mix remaining lump with two pinches of salt
  11. Put into storage containers
