Rhubarb Compote

Slice rhubarb thinly and on a bias
Do not eat leaves . Oxalic acid

2 TBL water boiling in a pan
Add 2/3 C sugar
3-4 C rhubarb
Simmer for 20 minutes
Set aside to let cool
