Veggie Burger

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 C mashed black beans
  • 1/4 C green bell pepper – diced
  • 1/4 C minced onion
  • 3 cloves minced garlic
  • 8 crushed Ritz crackers
  • 1/4 C brown rice
  • 1 egg
  • 1 jalapeño
  • cumin, salt

STEP BY STEP

  1. Put into colander for 30 minutes
  2. Set aside liquids for later use
  3. Mix solids with 8 crushed Ritz crackers
  4. Combine with 1/4 C brown rice
  5. 1/2 C whole black beans
  6. 1 tsp each cumin, GPTP
  7. 1/2 tsp sea salt
  8. 1 deseeded jalapeño
  9. 1 egg
  10. Create 2-3 patties
  11. Cook 2-3 minutes per side
  12. Add glaze while cooking
