INGREDIENTS
- Andouille Sausage
- 6 medium shrimp
- 1/4 Red bell pepper
- 1/4 onion
- Cooked fettuccini
- 1/2 C chicken broth
- 1/2 C heavy cream
- garlic
- 1/2 C crushed tomato with juice
- 1/2 C Parmesan cheese (inside)
- 1/4 C Parmesan cheese (top garnish)
- chopped parsley
STEP BY STEP
- Slice andouille sausage into coins, then put into hot skillet with oil
- Slice the onions thin, and add to the skillet
- Toss your shrimp with a bit of your favorite seasoning
- Push the onions aside and add the shrimp
- Cook about 1 minute each side
- Meanwhile, slice your bell into strips, and add to the skillet
- Chop your garlic and add to the skillet
- Add your cooked pasta and chicken broth
- Stir to loosen the pasta
- Add heavy cream and crushed tomato
- Bring up to a simmer (about 2 minutes)
- Add 1/2 C Parm cheese and mix
- Top with 1/4 C Parm cheese
- Garnish with parsley
