This is about as easy as it gets.
Ingredients
- Thin Italian-style lasagna noodles
- 1 can prepared spaghetti sauce
- 1 LG shredded cheese – 4 Cheese Blend
- 1/2 C cottage cheese
- 1/2 LB ground hamburger (optional)
- 1/2 LB ground pork or sausage (optional)
- Lay your noodles out in a baking dish
- Heat water to 105-110º and pour over top of noodles
- Soak 20-30 minutes – while preparing other ingredients
- Let drain 5 minutes on a paper towel
- Brown your hamburger in a cast iron skillet
- Pour in the spaghetti sauce and mix and heat
- Pour into a bowl and set aside – DO NOT wipe out pan
- Lay down one layer noodles
- Add a layer of 1/3 of your sauce and cheese
- Lay another noodle layer cross-wise to the first
- Add the next 1/3 of sauce and cheese
- Add a third layer of noodles in the same direction as the first layer
- Add the rest of the sauce and cheese
- Cover and bake for 30 minutes at 350º
- Uncover and bake 20 more minutes
- Let rest 15 minutes before cutting
