The BAKERY-QUALITY CINNAMON ROLLS are better, but when you don’t want to put a whole lot of effort into baking, but still want something for your sweet tooth, this recipe is very edible.
Time is about 1 hour
2 C warm water
2 T yeast
2 T sugar
2 T melted butter
2 eggs
1 tsp salt
Mix above ingredients, then add flour until dough is firm but sticky
Roll flat on floured surface
Spread (or brush) butter across surface
Sprinkle to taste with sugar and cinnamon mixture
Roll dough into a log
Cut using a sharp knife or dental floss
Put into greased pan, and let rise 20 minutes
Bake at 375ยบ for 15-20 minutes
Icing:
1/4 C powdered sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla
only enough milk to create a thick slurry
