INGREDIENTS
- 1/2 C butter
- 3/4 C packed light brown sugar
- 1 TBL milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 egg
- 3/4 C AP flour
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp baking soda
- 1 C semi-sweet chocolate chips
STEP BY STEP
- Preheat oven to 375º
- Cream together butter, brown sugar and egg.
- Combine with milk and vanilla
- Beat at medium speed until well blended.
- In separate bowl combine flour, salt and baking soda
- Mix flour mixture into creamed mixture at slow speed
- Stir in chocolate chips
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough 3 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheet
- Bake at 375º for 8-10 minutes for chewy cookies, or 11-13 for crisp cookies.
- Cool 2 minutes on baking sheet, then remove to a cooling rack.
- Makes about 3 dozen cookies
